Research Interests
Systems approaches of teaching and learning related to agriculture education, agricultural systems management, and effective laboratory instruction.
My research has focused upon the conceptual modeling of agricultural systems management and agriculture education programs based upon system dynamics and systems thinking. Past research has identified conceptual models for innovative instructional programs in agricultural systems management. Applications have been made to effectively implement systems strategies in agricultural systems management instructional programs. Additional research emphasis area includes the dynamic modeling of agriculture education teaching and learning models related to effective laboratory instruction. Future research emphasis areas are in the dynamic systems modeling of effective teaching and learning models, focusing upon applications of higher levels of cognition in applied learning environments in agriculture education.
