Course objectives
This course is intended to help you understand agricultural communications as a career field, as well as help you learn to prepare to enter the field, grow within it and contribute to it. It also aims to help you recognize some of the more important challenges facing professional agricultural communicators.
Students will have the primary voice in choosing and scheduling topics, and in initiating discussion about them.

- Professional organizations and programs
- Ethical issues
- Emerging issues in agricultural and environmental communications
Students may propose other topics as well according to their interests. Likewise, they may invite professionals or others to address the class.
