AGED 450 PROGRAM DELIVERY AND EVAL

Course Objectives
- Examine the formal and informal structure of a school organization, and determine strategies to develop and manage an agricultural education program in a school organization.
- Develop a program of work and justification for a summer and extended programming.
- Participle in and explain strategic planning.
- Describe how to conduct a needs assessment.
- Develop a program a program guide including philosophy/mission statement, vision, and goals.
- Develop a career pathway model and courses of study.
- Explain the functions of an advisory council and establish an organizational plan for an advisory council.
- Discuss the key component of program evaluation and a continuous improvement plan.
- Reflect on the student teaching internship and the process of becoming a program manager.
- Identify and use resources to plan, evaluate, and market an agricultural education program.
