HDFS 301 Infancy and Early Childhood

Course Objectives

HDFS 301 is designed to provide students with an in-depth overview of development during the infancy and early childhood periods.  Various environmental, biological, and contextual sources of influence will be explored in relation to physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.  A variety of frameworks for the study of development will also be explored.  A goal of the course is to have students develop competencies in the comprehension, application, and analysis of principles of growth and development during the infancy and early childhood periods.
