Course Objectives
Program evaluation is an increasingly important activity in human development and family studies, as well as in many other fields. Program evaluation is part of the job description in many "applied" careers. In addition, increasingly more of the research conducted by those in academic positions involves program evaluation. The goal of the course is to introduce students to the concepts and practical skills needed to conduct program evaluations of various kinds for service and intervention programs in human development and family studies.
