Transferring to an HCD Major
If you're a UI student and want to change your major to one of the options in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) or Agricultural and Environmental Communications and Education (AECE), you must submit the appropriate application for Inter-College Transfer (ICT) and supporting materials with the HCD Undergraduate Advising Coordinator.
NOTE: Students in the College of ACES must also submit an application to transfer to either of the HCD majors, even though they are not changing colleges.
ICT application forms are available from Leann Topol (333-3869) in 128 Bevier Hall, or from the Advising Coordinator in 133 Bevier Hall. You can also print an application form by clicking on one of the following links:

HCD reviews applications to transfer in both fall and spring semesters.
Deadlines for filing applications are: October 1 and March 1
